This month's read

Any and every book by this man is wonderful and opens your mind a tad bit more.

Finally got around to finish this, I've been carrying it with me for about 2 months now and I was exalted to say the least. Appreciate his work that much more now.

Of course.

This was a birthday gift from my sister and I couldn't stop flipping through the pages. Rock'n'roll has had such an effect on our culture. I think its the rawness, dirtyness, the I don't give a fuck attitude. I will do you right here on the floor in front of everyone kind of feeling that makes it so thrilling. Either way, it's making me bring out my leather pieces more and more.

Upgrade your life.

Looking to add this to the list soon.

"The truth is that we are not yet free; we have merely achieved the freedom to be free, the right not to be opressed. We have not take the final step of our journey, but the first step on a longer and even more difficult road. For to be free is nor merely to cast off one's chains, but to live in a way that respects and enhances the freedom of others. The true test of our devotion to freedom is just beginning... I have walked that long road to freedom. I have tried not to falter; I have made missteps along the way. But I have discovered the secret after climing a great hill, one only finds that there are many more hills to climb. I have taken a moment here to rest, to steal a view of the glorious vista that surrounds me, to look back on the distance I have come. But I can only rest for a moment, for with freedom come responsibilities, and I dare not linger, for my long walk to freedom is not yet ended." Nelson Mandela.

-I was flying back from a trip when I finished this book and I cried like a baby. He is a beautiful human being.
